Mother’s love is something

No one can ever explain.

Once you go through the journey

You can perhaps make an attempt.

Tiny soul with a rhythmic heartbeat

Has power to make all your pain feel sweet.

Once a fiercely independent girl

You’ll now be responsible for that tiny Pearl.

Ever ready to take fight with the destiny

You’ll have patience that’ll border on insanity.

Not the one to condone bitterness

Quickly you’ll learn the art of forgiveness.

You’re never prepared to play the role of mother

Is something you need to self discover.

Too many people’ll always have something to say

But you need to decide which one to downplay.

You’ll experience disintegration of body & mind

Sleep deprivation’ll make you cognitively blind.

You’ll feel as if it needs superhuman strength

To be Complemented with attitudinal wavelength.

At times this bundle of joy will make you cry

But their hugs and kisses will taste you like chocolate-pie.

With experience you’ll come to know

There is no best way to run this show.

This journey’ll have its share of ups & downs

You need to persevere to win maximum rounds.

Now is the time to appreciate your mother more

For her raising you was more than just a chore.

Mother’s love is something

No one can ever explain.

Once you go through the journey

You can perhaps make an attempt.
